In 2011, Andrea Brunelli and his brother Ivan formed Corte Bravi to make wine from the vineyards – some dating back to the 1960s – that their father Gianluigi had purchased twenty years before. The land, which also holds olive and cherry trees, is in Gargagnago, in a small valley where you’ll also find the estates of Dante’s descendants. The Brunelli family has always farmed without pesticides and herbicides. They became certified organic in 2018, and since 2019 have belonged to the VinNatur collective, made up of small artisan winemakers who have imposed serious and measurable standards of natural winemaking upon themselves.
