Pomodolce was founded in 2005 and is run by Silvio Davico and his son Alessandro. Their family has worked in wine in this area for several generations. They farm without herbicides or pesticides, and have dedicated themselves to the use and revival of native vines, Timorasso in particular; a vine almost forgotten after the invasion of phylloxera. Their estate (and wonderful restaurant, Da Giuseppe) is located in Montemarzino, in the Colli Tortonesi (hills of Tortona).
